Almost perfect

"When I read the advertisement I thought to myself this is just what I’ve been looking for something better than the standard stocker factory original equipment air filter. So I ordered two and they arrived in great condition. I went out to my car and removed the factory cabin filter compared it to your new filter and installed it. What became readily apparent was that it did not lock into position like the original factory filter. This means when you’re driving the vehicle the vibrations could make the filter start to disengage from the seal behind the glove box. This is not a difficult fix for someone with a little mechanical knowledge a piece of tape Will keep it in place so that there is a seal. This small design flaw almost negates the purpose of having the filter in the first place. The filter should snap into place. Since I just got it, I’ll give it a few months and check it to see how it’s doing."

"I don’t know...how am I to assess this? What do I have to test? My nose? It replaces the OEM install. It professes to be a triple filter. It looked like it was. As new, it looks better than the original which was full of dirt and leaves, but how can I tell if it’s deserves a 5 star or 1 star rating? I don’t know."
