The PureFlow Cabin Air Filter PC6080X is compatible with many Honda models and years (listed below) and uses a four-level filtration system to block contaminants from entering the vehicle. The PureFlow Cabin Air Filter PC6080X uses Premium Guard, a four-stage filtration process to keep the cabin of your vehicle free from pollutants and particulates, and therefore keeping your lungs clear as well.

The stages of Premium Guard are as follows:

• 1st Stage PureFlow particulate filtration media. This stage captures and eliminates particulate matter such as dust and pollen. Electrostatically charged to attract and lock fine particles of dust while allowing high-flow and high-capacity. This stage is especially important if the vehicle is out in nature, using dirt roads or being surrounded by fields and farms. But it can even be important to block allergens from pollen in cities, in areas with extensive trees and grass. In the autumn when leaves begin to collect on the streets and get sucked up into the vehicle’s air system, the filter will trap all the debris and keep it out of the cabin.
• 2nd & 3rd Stage Activated Charcoal layer that traps and mold harmful gases - e.g. carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide. This layer is combined with Baking soda to absorb bad smells resulting from mold and smoke. Perhaps two of the most important filtration layers, these are what keep you from inhaling the exhaust from the car in front of you in traffic. There are so many pollutants hanging in a fog around freeways and highways that without an adequate air filter you could get seriously ill--and would definitely get the smell. Protect yourself and your loved ones from pollutants with activated charcoal.
• 4th Stage filtration that employs special fibers acting as a barrier to trap mold. Finally, the last stage is the one that blocks out insidious molds, those tiny spores that are hardly noticeable but can make you extremely sick, even if you don’t have a specific mold allergy. Molds can lead to diseases of the lungs, brain, and other organs, and having a barrier to block them from getting in your cabin is essential.
